Centralised data reporting

Our soft­ware engi­neers assist in uni­fy­ing SD Worx’s report­ing sys­tems into a sin­gle, stream­lined data plat­form. Using Snowflake for the back­end and Pow­er BI for the front end, they sim­pli­fy the report­ing process and great­ly improve data visu­al­i­sa­tion. The basic ver­sion of the new reports, which pro­vide updat­ed remu­ner­a­tion data, is already live. Mean­while, the team is work­ing on advanced reports that will offer deep­er insights and allow users to bench­mark inter­nal data against mar­ket trends.

The mod­ern inter­face and effi­cien­cy of the new dash­boards have been praised by ana­lysts as it allows them to dig into the data faster, and make deci­sions based on what they analyse, rather than feel. Next to that, the func­tion­al­i­ty to export detailed reports to Excel and PDF has been a hit for SD Worx. By under­stand­ing their busi­ness needs, our experts have con­tributed to trans­lat­ing these com­plex busi­ness needs into clear and effec­tive reports.

Integrated platform strategy

This ensures pay­roll data, legal updates, and finan­cial infor­ma­tion are always accu­rate and up-to-date, mak­ing everyone’s day-to-day work using this data a lot less frustrating.

User-friendly interfaces

Hyperion’s UX design­ers are reg­u­lar­ly improv­ing the inter­faces of var­i­ous SD Worx’s plat­forms and tools to make them more intu­itive and user-friend­ly. Our experts sim­pli­fy user jour­neys and add func­tion­al­i­ties through­out dif­fer­ent plat­forms, so employ­ees and clients of SD Worx get a nice expe­ri­ence every day. Our design­ers work close­ly with the cen­tral UX depart­ment at SD Worx, deliv­er­ing results togeth­er like a well-oiled machine.

Building the Hermes system

Togeth­er with SD Worx, our devel­op­ers are ful­ly deploy­ing the Her­mes sys­tem, link­ing their inter­nal edi­tor with a Sales­force set­up to stream­line com­mu­ni­ca­tion and task man­age­ment for pay­roll con­sul­tants. As the sys­tem cen­tralis­es infor­ma­tion in one place, the pay­roll con­sul­tants depend less on iso­lat­ed, one-to-one com­mu­ni­ca­tion via email. This makes the expe­ri­ence of the con­sul­tants and the employ­ees involved in this com­mu­ni­ca­tion sig­nif­i­cant­ly smoother. Ini­tial­ly com­plet­ed as a pilot, the Her­mes sys­tem is now ful­ly oper­a­tional, with a migra­tion of over 30,000 user pro­files to this new set­up. It’s cur­rent­ly used by large enter­pris­es and SMEs, with plans for SAP users to join.

Documentum

Doc­u­men­tum, the main data­base that holds all kinds of doc­u­ments at SD Worx, from news arti­cles to finan­cial fig­ures, is get­ting a big update. We’re care­ful­ly clean­ing up old data and rewrit­ing the con­nect­ed appli­ca­tions into mod­ern APIs. This update pro­vides the edi­tors and read­ers of these doc­u­ments with a more reli­able sys­tem, pre­vent­ing out­dat­ed or wrong infor­ma­tion is viewed or shared. By man­u­al­ly inputting his­tor­i­cal data and recon­fig­ur­ing the sys­tem, we have ensured accu­rate dis­tri­b­u­tion of crit­i­cal finan­cial and legal infor­ma­tion, reduc­ing data errors and pro­cess­ing time.
