About the job

At 3‑it, you’ll join a tight-knit, fam­i­ly-ori­ent­ed team in the heart of Herentals.   • As part of our con­tin­ued growth, we are seek­ing an expe­ri­enced Net­work Engi­neer. In this role, you will:
  • Pro­vide 3rd-line sup­port for com­plex net­work issues at client sites.
  • Man­age the dai­ly IT infra­struc­ture of our clients.
  • Proac­tive­ly assess and improve clients’ IT environments.
  • Devel­op pro­ce­dures, process­es, and documentation.
  • Lead and man­age projects from ini­ti­a­tion to completion.

Who are you?

As a Medior/​Senior Net­work Engi­neer, you bring a broad range of per­son­al and tech­ni­cal skills:

Tech­ni­cal Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level.
  • At least 5 years of expe­ri­ence in a sim­i­lar role, ide­al­ly as a consultant.
  • Exten­sive expe­ri­ence and cer­ti­fi­ca­tions in Fortinet (Cer­ti­fied Pro­fes­sion­al lev­el required).
  • Addi­tion­al skills in secu­ri­ty solu­tions (Microsoft Suite), on-prem, hybrid, and cloud solu­tions (Dell).
  • Knowl­edge of Azure, Win­dows, and Lin­ux environments.

Per­son­al Skills

  • Strong com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills and a pas­sion for engag­ing with clients.
  • Matu­ri­ty in defin­ing and shap­ing projects with clients.
  • Excel­lent project man­age­ment skills, capa­ble of over­see­ing end-to-end processes.
  • A desire to stay updat­ed with the lat­est Fortinet developments.
  • You enjoy work­ing autonomous­ly but are also a col­lab­o­ra­tive team play­er, pas­sion­ate about your work.
